Luxor is the greatest open-air museum on the planet. In ancient times, this city was called Thebes and was the powerful capital of the Egyptian kingdom. Today, this is the place where a third of all ancient monuments of the world are concentrated! Our classic excursion to Luxor is the most exciting historical journey you can make from Hurghada.

Karnak Temple

We begin on the East Bank with the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built. Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes and stand in awe inside the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 colossal columns.

Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut

After crossing the Nile and enjoying a delicious lunch, we head to the West Bank — the City of the Dead. You will descend into three ancient tombs in the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs like Tutankhamun were buried. We will also visit the magnificent terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and make a photo stop at the giant Colossi of Memnon.
